olden Whip Stream is one of the most beautiful and relaxing walking routes inside Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The scenic trail follows a clear mountain stream flowing through a forested valley surrounded by towering sandstone pillars.
Stretching for about 7.5 kilometers, the path runs along the base of the cliffs, offering a completely different perspective from the high mountain viewpoints found in areas like Yuanjiajie or Tianzi Mountain.
The stream itself winds gently through the valley, reflecting the dramatic rock formations above while bamboo groves and dense forest line the banks. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy famous landmarks such as Golden Whip Rock, Mother and Child Peak, and Meeting from Afar.
