Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu Arrival → Hotel Check-in → Kuanzhai Alleys / Jinli (optional)
The Experience:
Upon your arrival in Chengdu, your private guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Based on your arrival time, you can ease into the city’s famous “slow life” with a visit to Kuanzhai Alleys or Jinli Ancient Street. Here, you’ll wander through traditional architecture, perhaps catching a glimpse of shadow puppetry or trying local snacks like “Three Cannonballs.” It’s the perfect way to soak in the atmosphere of old Chengdu.

Day 2: Chengdu Panda Base → Wenshu Monastery → Teahouse
The Experience:
In the morning, we head to the Chengdu Panda Base to see the pandas enjoying their breakfast. You’ll have time to visit the moon and sun nurseries and the red panda forest.
Later, we retreat to Wenshu Monastery, the city’s most peaceful Buddhist sanctuary. We’ll finish the afternoon at the monastery’s outdoor teahouse, sitting in bamboo chairs and sipping tea just like the locals do.

The Experience:
Morning begins with a drive to Leshan to see the 71-meter Giant Buddha.
You’ll explore the Buddha by walking down the cliffside paths to see its massive scale from below. Alternatively, if you prefer a panoramic view and less walking, you can choose the boat tour, which offers a stunning full-length perspective from the river.
After a lunch of local snacks, we transfer to the foot of Mount Emei to check in.

Day 4: Mount Emei → Chengdu
The Experience:
Early in the day, we take the park bus and cable car to the Golden Summit.
Stand above the clouds next to the 48-meter multi-faced golden statue of Puxian.
Then, we explore the temples at the peak before descending through the misty, lush forests of the mid-mountain.
Later, we drive back to Chengdu for a restful evening.

Upon arrival, a private vehicle will transfer you to Huanglong National Park. You’ll explore the “Yellow Dragon” valley, famous for its thousands of tiered, turquoise calcified ponds.
Afterward, we drive to your hotel located near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou to settle in.
