Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu → Bipenggou Scenic Area → Guergou Hot Spring Town
The Experience:
We leave Chengdu in the morning by private vehicle, heading northwest into the mountains of western Sichuan. The drive takes around 4–5 hours.Â
By late morning or around midday, we arrive at Bipenggou Scenic Area, one of Sichuan’s most beautiful alpine valleys.
After entering the park, we use the eco shuttle buses to reach the main sightseeing areas before exploring on foot.
Easy boardwalks lead us past crystal-clear lakes, colorful forests, rushing streams, and dramatic snow-capped peaks. Unlike some of Sichuan’s more demanding mountain destinations, Bipenggou is accessible for most travelers while still offering spectacular scenery.
After enjoying the valley at a relaxed pace, we continue by private vehicle for about 20 minutes to Guergou Hot Spring Town, where we’ll spend the night.Â

Day 2: Guergou Hot Spring Town → Miyaluo Scenic Drive → Chengdu
The Experience:
After breakfast, we begin our journey back toward Chengdu.
Depending on the season, we’ll take a scenic route through the Miyaluo Valley, a region famous for its forests, mountain rivers, and spectacular autumn colors.
In the afternoon, we continue by private vehicle back to Chengdu, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.Â
