Itinerary
Chengdu Tianfu Greenway 100km Loop
Your cycling adventure begins in the morning when we meet at the 0km starting point, near the Global Center.
Before we start riding, we’ll help you adjust your bicycle, fit your helmet, and give a brief safety introduction.
Our ride starts at Jincheng Lake and rides clockwise.
Along the way, you’ll pass morning joggers, families walking through parks, fishermen by quiet lakes, and cyclists out for their weekend ride.
Around midday, we’ll stop at a local restaurant for a simple lunch. After a relaxing break, we’ll continue the second half of the loop.
In the afternoon, we ride toward Qinglong Lake, one of Chengdu’s largest ecological parks. The peaceful surroundings, expansive wetlands, and lakeside cycling paths offer some of the most scenic sections of the entire route.
Continuing east, we reach Dong’an Lake, a modern waterfront park built for the FISU World University Games.
As the afternoon light softens, we begin the final section of the 100km Greenway Loop, cycling through Sanshengxiang before returning toward our starting point.
We will complete the loop in about 7-9 hours, depending on the pace.

Is the Greenway separated from traffic?
Yes. Most of the route follows dedicated cycling and walking paths, making it much safer and more enjoyable than riding on city roads.
Do you provide bike rental?
No. But we can guide you to the quality bicycle rentals with helmets and basic safety equipment. Electric bikes can also be arranged upon request.
What is the best season for the Chengdu Greenway bike ride?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most pleasant temperatures, clear skies, and beautiful scenery.
Can this tour be customized?
