Day 2: Chengdu → Leshan Giant Buddha → Local Food → Transfer to Mount Emei (overnight)

In the morning, we drive to Leshan to meet the world’s largest stone-carved Buddha.
You’ll explore the Giant Buddha by walking down the winding cliffside paths to see its massive scale from below.
Alternatively, if you prefer a panoramic view with less walking, you can choose the boat tour, which offers a stunning full-length perspective of the Buddha from the river. Perfect for capturing the entire ‘Giant Sleeping Buddha’ silhouette in one frame.
Later, after enjoying a local lunch featuring Leshan’s famous snacks, we transfer to the foot of Mount Emei.

Early in the morning, we take the park’s eco-bus and cable car to reach the Golden Summit (Jinding). Standing at over 3,000 meters, you’ll witness the towering golden statue of Samantabhadra and, weather permitting, a spectacular Sea of Clouds.
Afterward, we descend to explore the lush, mid-mountain forests and ancient temples like Wannian Temple.
Then, we make our way back to Chengdu for your final evening in the city.
