Day 1: Chengdu Airport → Hotel
The Experience:
Welcome to Chengdu, the relaxed capital of Sichuan and the starting point of your mountain adventure.
After you arrive, we’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel in the city center.Â
The rest of the day is yours to settle in and recover from your journey.Â

Day 2: Chengdu Panda Base → Dujiangyan Irrigation System
The Experience:
We’ll leave the hotel early to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, when the pandas are most active. We’ll watch giant pandas eating, climbing, and playing, and also learn about China’s long-term conservation efforts.Â
After lunch, we continue by private vehicle to Dujiangyan, about an hour away.
Built more than 2,200 years ago, this remarkable irrigation system still controls the Min River without the use of a dam and remains one of China’s greatest engineering achievements.
As we walk across ancient bridges and riverside paths, you’ll discover how this UNESCO World Heritage Site transformed Sichuan into one of China’s most fertile regions.
In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Chengdu and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 3: Chengdu → Jiuzhaigou by High-Speed Train → Huanglong
The Experience:
This morning, we’ll transfer to the railway station and board the high-speed train to Jiuzhaigou.
Upon arrival at the Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station, our private driver will meet you and continue toward the Huanglong Scenic Area.
It is famous for the colorful travertine pools, limestone terraces, and mountain scenery. Huanglong is sitting at a higher elevation (~3,500 m), often surrounded by snow-capped peaks.Â
By late afternoon, we will ascend and transfer to the hotel near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou

Day 4: Jiuzhaigou National Park
The Experience:
Today is dedicated to exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, and snow-capped mountains.
We’ll use the park’s eco-friendly shuttle buses together with leisurely walks to explore the Y-shaped three valleys:
- Zechawa Valley: Long Lake, Five Colored Pool
- Rize Valley: Arrow Bamboo Lake, Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoals Waterfalls, Mirror Lake
- Shuzheng Valley: Nuorilang Waterfall, Shuzheng Lakes, Reed Lake
We’ll move at a relaxed pace throughout the day, allowing plenty of time for photography, short walks, and quiet moments to appreciate the changing landscapes before returning to your hotel in the evening.

Day 5: Jiuzhaigou → Chengdu by High-Speed Train → Kuanzhai Alley → Jinli Ancient Street
The Experience:
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station and board the high-speed train back to Chengdu. Once we arrive, our private vehicle will transfer us to the hotel, and have a rest.
In the late afternoon, we begin exploring Kuanzhai Alley, where restored Qing Dynasty courtyards now house teahouses, artisan shops, and cafés. It’s an excellent place to experience Chengdu’s famously relaxed lifestyle while learning how traditional architecture has been carefully preserved.
Later, when evening falls, we visit Jinli Ancient Street, one of the city’s most vibrant cultural streets. Here, lantern-lined alleys, traditional wooden buildings, Sichuan snacks, and local crafts create a lively atmosphere that blends history with everyday life. It’s also a wonderful place to sample regional street food before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Chengdu → Bipenggou
The Experience:
Today we leave Chengdu behind and head into the mountains of western Sichuan by private vehicle. The drive takes around 4–5 hours.
After arriving at Bipenggou Scenic Area, we’ll spend the afternoon exploring one of Sichuan’s most beautiful mountain valleys.
Shuttle buses bring us deeper into the park, where easy walking trails lead past emerald lakes, rushing streams, colorful forests, and towering snow-covered peaks.
Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy brilliant autumn foliage, fresh summer greenery, or peaceful winter snow, making Bipenggou a rewarding destination throughout the year.
After our visit, we continue a short distance to Guergou Hot Spring Town, where we’ll stay overnight.Â

Day 7: Bipenggou → Siguniang Mountain
The Experience:
After breakfast, we continue by private vehicle toward Siguniang Mountain, often called the “Alps of the East.”Â
Our destination is Shuangqiao Valley, the most accessible of Siguniang Mountain’s three valleys. Park sightseeing buses allow us to travel between scenic viewpoints while enjoying short walks through alpine meadows, forests, rivers, and dramatic granite peaks. Unlike more demanding trekking routes, Shuangqiao Valley offers spectacular mountain landscapes without requiring strenuous hiking, making it ideal for families and nature lovers alike.
Tonight, we’ll stay in Rilong Town, a small mountain community where Tibetan culture remains an important part of everyday life.
